About Me.
I have been a maker all my life, ever since I was a child mixing random glues and materials together against my mother’s wishes. Finding theater in high school helped me find my true passion; making art in a community. Since then, I have endeavored to create and find community around me while furthering my creative interests, and building for live entertainment is an exceptional coalescence between the two.
Building props for a show or event requires design vision and problem solving. There is nothing I love more than problem solving with an artistic flare. Finding a beautiful solution to a logistical problem is the goal I consistently aim for, and collaborating with designers to bring a show to life is what makes crafting so rewarding.
I strive to make quality props while maintaining open and friendly communication with my colleagues. I find fostering a positive environment that allows the sharing of ideas and skills between coworkers is instrumental in creating live entertainment, and it is a method I incorporate into my work daily. I hope to bring this inclusive outlook with me in all my work as I build more towards my future.
