The show Native Gardens requires there to be a lush and beautiful garden on stage. When asking our designer for direction on where certain flowers would go in the garden, she gave us license to arrange the flowers ourselves so long as they were pretty and the size increased as we went up stage. I headed up the majority of the flower arranging and research. In this process I learned the valueable lesson that "looking pretty" and "looking realistic" are not the same thing. Faux flowers often are sold as a flower with just a leaf or two. Real flowers obviously have more greenery than that as the greenery produces the flower, so I had to get creative with different greenery to make the garden look properly realistic.
