Knight Shields
I made these shields out of MDF and designed the crown logo for the shields. I made them with a handle and arm rest on the back. I had help from the students to paint the design onto the shields after I had traced them on.
Knight Swords
I found these old prop swords in storage and repaired them and gave them a new paint job. I fixed the hilt and pommel with Bondo and sanded the dirt build up off of the sword "blades."
Royal Banners
I designed these banners myself and made them out of an aluminum pole, plywood, and paint on a thick blue cloth. I made them this way so that they would be lighter than using the rigging hardware we had available. One of the soldiers holding a banner had a 25lbs weight limit, so it was important for me to make them as light as I could without sacrificing strength.
