In this scene the stair case represented Henrietta's final ascent in death.

We rented this table from Triad Stage (Greensboro, NC) and had their permission to alter and refurbish it.

The table had peeling white paint on the top. This is me sanding the paint off after an initial scraping.

After priming the table with 123 Primer, I painted the table a light tan color.

I used a dark brown for the initial woodgrain.

After step two, I used a very watered down, more orange, brown color to paint over the whole table for Step 3.

I designed and constructed this star plate holder based on a few images. I made two of them for this show.

I didn't initially know what a star-spanker was until I did a bit of reasearch. After finding some images I planned out and executed these props.
